July’s Boots to Boardroom session – Women’s Personal Protection Equipment. During this session we will be reviewing the New Canadian Standards Association’s High Visibility Safety Apparel (HVSA) CSA Z96-16 – let’s do this together! The CSA Z96-15 standard is set to go out to public review on July 19th. This is our chance to review the revisions and make comments to the CSA group’s committee. We will look specifically at the new Sections 5.7 – Ergonomics, and Annex A – Selection, Use and Care as they are the most likely candidates for the conversation of PPE/PPC ‘fit’ for women.
