Our mission is to support women working in OH&S through education, mentoring, resources and connection.
Whether you are just beginning your career in Occupational Health & Safety or are trying to advance within the profession, WOHSS offers its members encouragement, engagement, inspiration and advice.
General membership ($55) – Currently applicable to women working in an OHS role in Canada.
Associate membership ($55) – Applicable to women working in an OHS role outside of Canada, individuals working outside of the OHS profession who provide associated services, and men. Associate members are eligible to run for the Director at Large position on the board.
Student membership ($27.50) – Applicable to female students who are currently enrolled as a student on a full-time basis in an OHS program at a recognized school, college or university, or who have completed an OHS program at a recognized school, college or university within the previous calendar year.
Members will have access to resources to help address their personal or professional OHS questions.
Members will have access to online resources to aid in networking and informal communication through social media and our website.
Members will have the opportunity to participate in various WOHSS events, workshops, webinars and speaker series.
Members will have access to Career Development and Leadership mentoring and an opportunity to be a mentee and/or a mentor.
Members will be able to participate in any of our committees, learning from and networking with other WOHSS members.
General members can volunteer for a variety of leadership positions on the Boards of Directors.
Members will have access to resources to help address their personal or professional OHS questions.
